Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Principal Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our Abiomed team located at the Danvers, MA facility.

The Principal Electronics Manufacturing Engineer provide expert-level support for the manufacturing of Class III medical devices.

This critical role will be the primary technical resource supporting daily production operations, leading issue resolution, driving continuous improvement, and integrating product enhancements into a sophisticated, regulated manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of electronics manufacturing for high-reliability, life-sustaining systems and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for key technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:


* Serve as the SME for electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, soldering, functional testing, and integration of electro-mechanical assemblies.


* Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting production issues and driving root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).


* Lead design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) efforts in collaboration with R\&D and quality engineering teams.


* Support and lead activities related to new product introduction (NPI), including process development, work instruction creation, validation planning (IQ/OQ/PQ), and successful transfer to manufacturing.


* Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance yield, reduce cost, and improve reliability and efficiency of electronics manufacturing processes.
