Sterile Processing Supervisor

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position.

Scheduled hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to:


* Ensure that standards of operation are in compliance with the standards set by all regulatory agencies.


* Be responsible for a significant budget as well as assist in the ongoing hiring, training, and supervising of staff.


* Possess a wide range of knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment, and techniques.


* Provide instruction on new products, procedures, and equipment to ensure the best possible support for our customers and the highest possible care for our patients.


* Have basic understanding of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.


* Have basic knowledge of Tracking Systems and OR Scheduling Systems.

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)


* Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience



* Two years of experience in reprocessing (Required)


* Six months of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience (Required)


* One year of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications



* Certification by HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (Required)


* HSPA Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) Certification or Certified Supervisor from CBSPD (Preferred)
