Production Supervisor

Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role ensures smooth and efficient workflow, adherence to quality standards, and a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.

Key Responsibilities


* Supervise daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.


* Organize and adjust workflow based on priorities and production schedules.


* Monitor processes to identify bottlenecks or quality issues and implement corrective actions.


* Lead, coach, and evaluate production staff, including operators, technicians, and support personnel.


* Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on production goals.


* Ensure proper use of equipment, raw materials, and labor resources.


* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all safety protocols.


* Support preventive maintenance programs and recommend process improvements.


* Maintain accurate documentation and report production metrics and performance updates to the Engineering Manager.


* Participate in team meetings and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements & Skills


* Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing or production environment.


* Strong knowledge of production operations, quality control, and safety regulations.


* Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Prophet 21) and Microsoft Office tools.


* Mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes.


* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.


* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


* Detail-oriented with a commitment to process discipline and results.
