The Measurement Coordinator will be the lead resource in the implementation and use of liquid measurement using the Enterprise Measurement Policy and Procedures standards and generally accepted industry standards to ensure that all measurement stations accurately measure and balance flows.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* The technical resource for pipeline, plant and terminal measurement equipment and flow computers.
* Support area technicians on measurement equipment problems and provide field support as needed.
* Work with operations, engineering, and commercial groups on the specification of flow measurement equipment, flow computers and testing equipment for existing installations and new projects.
* Monitor pipeline and terminal over and short balances, notify appropriate groups of imbalance conditions.
* Work closely with Corporate Material Balance and Measurement groups to resolve imbalance conditions.
* Provide expertise to resolve measurement problems using flow computers and field equipment.
* Work with Operations and Commercial management, Corporate Measurement and Material Balance and other balancing personnel within the Enterprise Products Company to improve the balancing processes.
* Coordinate the maintenance and repair meter provers, witness Enterprise and customer water draws, maintain maintenance and water draw schedules.
* Recommend measurement equipment update and replacement including cost for budgets.
* Maintain computer interface with measurement and their operations and promote accuracy to the liquid measurement function.
* Lead and participate in biannual audits of measurement systems.
* Provide training for measurement procedures and equipment.
* Assist with commissioning and startup of new projects.
* Review and report meter proving status compliance per measurement policy.
