Senior Application Engineer - Foxboro DCS System

Western Canada | Travel up to 50%

We're looking for a self-driven, customer-focused Senior Application Engineer with deep expertise in Foxboro DCS systems to join our team.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working across the full lifecycle of automation projects-from design to commissioning-this role is for you.

What will you do?



* Lead and execute DCS projects for O&G and process industries


* Design, configure, and commission Foxboro DCS systems


* Interpret P&IDs, control narratives, and I/O databases


* Develop HMI (FoxView/CHMI), troubleshoot systems, and support site startups


* Collaborate with clients to define technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?



* 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with Foxboro DCS (200 series hardware, Control Configurator, FoxView, CHMI)


* Strong knowledge of CSA/CEC codes and DCS cabinet design


* Experience with Wonderware Historian, FDSI, alarm rationalization, and cybersecurity


* Familiarity with networks, VMs (Hyper-V/VMware), and system hardening


* Engineering degree or Instrumentation Technology diploma


* APEGA registration is a plus
