Manufacturing Engineer

The Engineer would be focused on the creation and maintenance of the plant wide labor routings/standards, as well as being tasked with being the main point of contact for all BOM updates for the facility (creating PCRs, following through to implementation, and conducting BOM audits).

This role will work in conjunction with Operations Management, Finance, and Engineering to ensure cost accuracy as it relates to earned labor and BOM accuracy.

Qualifications


* Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing experience in an Oracle environment.


* Experience in a highly configured product environment.


* Infor experience a plus.


* Microsoft word, excel & AutoCAD skill.


* Knowledge/experience with Kanban, Kaizen, pull production, manual assembly, consumer product manufacturing, vendor relations preferred.


* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.


* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.


* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
