Restuarant and Bar Manager

We are looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team at Crowne Plaza Canberra.

You will be leading the charge to ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience – whether they’ve worked up an appetite for a full conference banquet or are just joining us for their favourite hot beverage.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be looking after:


* Hands on, day to day managing of the Food & Beverage department


* Delivering exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them


* Coach and develop our food & beverage team through regular feedback and goal setting


* Managing food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices


* Multitasking to oversee our Redsalt Restaurant, Lume Bar, banquets, and room service offering


* Drive departmental profitability by effectively managing procurement, inventory, and labour costs.

About you:


* Experience working in a similar leadership role in a hotel 


* Strong communicator and able to balance priorities  


* Understanding of budgeting, cost control and rostering


* Available to work a rotating roster, this includes evenings, weekends and Public Holidays


* Must have working rights for Australia 


* Current RSA, and First Aid (including CPR) certifications.
