Occupational Therapist-PRN
Occupational Therapist - Make a Meaningful Impact Every Day
Are you passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential? As an Occupational Therapist with us, you'll play a key role in transforming lives—one patient at a time.
This is more than a job; it's a chance to bring purpose, movement, and independence back into people's lives.
What You'll Do:
* Jump in quickly—complete patient evaluations within 24 hours (or the next business day) after a physician referral.
* Create customized treatment plans and get them approved, turning clinical insight into action.
* Provide hands-on therapy based on physician plans and help patients achieve real, tangible goals.
* Collaborate with nursing staff to train Restorative Aides and support consistent, high-quality care.
* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, guiding and mentoring with confidence.
* Team up with fellow healthcare professionals to share insights, solve problems, and celebrate progress.
* Join in on care planning meetings and bring your unique perspective to help shape patient outcomes.
* Keep your documentation game strong—accurate, timely, and aligned with all board and payer requirements.
* Teach families and caregivers how to continue therapy at home and ease the transition to discharge.
* Recommend and help order essential equipment that gives patients more independence and confidence.
* Flag any equipment issues so we can keep our tools—and your treatments—running smoothly.
Who You Are:
* You connect easily with people and bring positivity, professionalism, and compassion to every interaction.
* You're a mentor at heart and ready to support COTAs, aides, and students as they grow.
* You thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
* A valid state license and up-to-date continuing education.
* Comfortable using software like Casamba and PointClickCare.
* Solid communication skills—you can explain clinical details clearly and kindly.
* Problem-solving skills that help you think on your feet and act with confidence.
* Strength to support patient mobility needs (yes, we're moving and stretching often!).
* Physical ability to handle the demands of the job—from lifting and walking to bending and reaching.
The Environment:
* A supportive, collaborative workplace where your voice matters.
* Low to moderate noise levels, plenty of teamwork, and space for you to do your best work.
* Accommodations available to ensure everyone can thrive in their role.
Why Join Us?
Here, you're not just part of a team—you're part of a mission.
We believe therapy should be inspiring, uplifting, and deeply human.
If you're ready to bring energy and excellence to every patient interaction, we'd love to meet you.
