We are involved at all stages of a project from preliminary design to construction, to maintenance for the lifetime of our installed equipment.
We have over one BILLION dollars’ worth of equipment installed in the field throughout our territory.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Outside Sales Specialist to cover our Arkansas territory.
In this role, you will be the face of our organization to municipal and utility customers, promoting Kamstrup’s cutting-edge water meter solutions and helping clients make informed, cost-effective decisions.
Key Duties and essential functions:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal utilities and other key customers throughout Arkansas.
* Promote and sell Kamstrup smart water metering systems and related solutions.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage an active sales pipeline.
* Collaborate closely with the inside sales team and project managers to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through deployment.
* Provide excellent post-sale support and customer service to build long-term relationships.
* Conduct site visits, attend industry events, and stay up to date on market trends and product knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in utilities, infrastructure, or technical product sales.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build customer trust.
* Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with a strong work ethic.
* Customer service mindset with a focus on long-term relationship building.
* Willingness to travel throughout the Arkansas territory and to Kamstrup’s factory in Cumming, GA for annual product training.
* Experience with water meters or municipal infrastructure products is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
