Housing Manager - Mid Market Rent 

Glasgow with possible travel throughout Scotland

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)

This is a great job opportunity for an experienced Mid-Market Housing Manager to join Home Groups awesome housing team.

As our Housing Manager you’ll be the face-to-face customer support to our communities.

This is the perfect job for you if you like variety and delivering excellent services to our customers and communities.  

Typical day as a Housing Manager 


* Through visibility, engagement with customers and pro-activity on our estates, you’ll really get to get to know our communities.  


* You’ll look after a number of patches and neighbourhoods (ably supported by our Housing Assistants).


* Through visibility, engagement with customers and pro-activity on our estates, you’ll really get to get to know our communities.

This will help us to improve our local neighbourhoods.  


* Proactively managing arrears, voids and anti-social behaviour in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints ensuring we achieve our KPI's.


* Knowledge of the First Tier Tribunal and liaising with our solicitor in casework preparation.

Liaising with partners, stakeholders and local authorities.


* Carry out estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site, as well as carrying out and recording the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities. 


* We provide a service to factored owners within this team and you may occasionally be asked to support our specialist Factored Housing Manager.

About You   


* Have worked in housing before and understand housing management, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too!  


* Letting Agent Qualification is required with a preference of one year's experience


* Super organised and methodical in your approach, you’re also a proactive self-starter with a “can do” positive attitude 


* Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers.


* This job can challenge, especially when we’re dealing with complaints but your resilience will help you through. 


* Confident working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities, MP’s etc


* Like being part of a team but appreciate that this is a role where you’ll spend most of your time working in our local estates.
