International Equity Sales - Analyst

Morgan's Equity Franchise Sales team is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our dynamic team in New York.

The International Equity Sales team manages client relationships with the largest institutional investors in North America investing in international markets.

It delivers the J.P.

Morgan Equity Research Product and investment ideas, facilities investor, corporate and analyst access, and places initial public offerings and follow-ons.

The Analyst role is integral to supporting the growth of our top-ranked international business in the evolving industry landscape.

You will engage with stakeholders around the world and collaborate with various teams, including Research, Sales-Trading, Trading, Syndicate, Equity Capital Markets, Banking, Prime-Brokerage, and Derivatives.

You will be part of the sales team effort to deliver the firm's resources and best-in-class client franchise.

Key Responsibilities:


* Support the sales team in the day-to-day coverage of long-only, hedge-funds and sovereign wealth funds, helping build and strengthen client relationships.


* Read J.P.

Morgan research product in order to be able to present and interpret the J.P.

Morgan products and views.

Stay on top of market news and flows.


* Contribute to daily research write-ups, regular written products and ad-hoc market commentary in response to market-moving events.


* Collaborate with stakeholders across different geographical coverages (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia).

Interact with internal partners in sales, research, trading, capital markets, banking, derivatives, prime brokerage, fixed income.


* Organize and host analyst and company meetings, take notes, and assist senior managers with internal presentations and data gathering.


* Support the use of LLM functions to maximize market call efficiency and product monetization


* Constantly educate yourself on international markets and politics, and diligently gather information that may occur outside US market hours.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* College / Undergraduate degree


* 1+ years of financial markets experience.

Understanding of markets and company financials


* SIE, Series 7 & 63 licenses


* Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word, Bloomberg


* Excellent team player, with the ability to work well in small groups and partner well across the franchise


* Effective communicator


* Curious, thoughtful, with an interest in global markets and events


* Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural and global environment


* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressures associate with time-sensitive market events and deadlines


* Attention to detail and strong organization skills
