* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
* Min 2-3 yrs as a Quality Engineer
* Experience in manufacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications:
* Three to five years' experience in Product/Manufacturing and Quality Engineering is preferred.
* Bachelor's degree Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer
* Experience in manufacturing of aerospace fasteners
Summary
With minimum supervision, responsible for implementing initial quality plans on products and programs.
Provides support and direction in the implementation and administration of quality systems.
Analyzes the effectiveness of the quality system and coordinates quality related issues with customers, suppliers, and other functional disciplines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and establish quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans and continuous improvement initiatives specific to assigned customers and/or product.
* Perform Customer Purchase Order/Contract Reviews to identify quality requirements for impact into the manufacturing system.
Ensure that all documentation, Certification/Inspection Reports, making, packaging, source inspection and applicable Supplier Source Release are identified and acceptable.
* Review and maintain all assigned customer quality documents and specifications.
