* Bachelor of Science Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science is required.

Graduate Degree in Engineering or Materials Science is highly preferred.


* Demonstrated subject matter expertise in titanium physical metallurgy, with a thorough understanding of processing/mechanical property relationships.


* Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to build a high-impact team, envisioning and articulating the strategy, and passionately owning and driving the team towards achievement.


* Minimum 10 years of experience leading Metallurgy and Quality organizations for systems, processes, and products, preferably in an organization manufacturing aerospace product.


* Working knowledge of melting and hot working practices used in the manufacturing of aerospace materials, preferably focused on titanium alloys and products.


* Experience implementing quality systems (AS9100) and leading change through strategic direction


* Strong command of aerospace material and quality specifications (AMS, ASTM, AS9100)


* Experience with NADCAP MTL, NDT, and Heat Treatment accreditation processes


* Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with and influence the decision making of Senior Management
