What You'll Do


* Develop and maintain monthly nursing schedules, coordinating staff requests to ensure adequate coverage at all times.


* Track and update daily attendance records, including tardiness and absenteeism.


* Notify the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) regarding employees with excessive absences or tardiness in accordance with facility policies.


* Collaborate with Human Resources and DNS to schedule modified-duty employees in compliance with medical restrictions and company policy.


* Support the recruitment process by assisting with candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding activities.


* Guide employees in accurately completing scheduling-related forms, such as timecards, leave requests, and day-off submissions.


* Finalize and post staff schedules in a timely manner.


* Assist with the preparation, submission, and filing of reports and documentation as required by company policies and procedures.


* Perform additional staffing and recruitment-related tasks as assigned to support departmental operations.

What We're Looking For


* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or healthcare recruiting; experience in a long-term care or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.


* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with staff, management, and candidates.
