Associate - Corporate Sustainability

Join the Corporate Sustainability team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where we are dedicated to supporting energy security and advancing a low-carbon future.

Our team works across the firm to advance sustainability priorities, and we lead external engagement with key sustainability stakeholders.

As an Associate within Corporate Sustainability, you will play a critical role in advancing the firm's sustainability goals.

You will support the Corporate Sustainability Strategic Engagement function, which oversees external partnerships, event strategy, and policy-related work.

You will play an important role in managing sponsorships and partnerships, and help manage internal tools and processes to ensure their timely delivery.

This includes supporting the firm's engagement at marquee climate and energy events, including COP and New York Climate Week.

You will also analyze the U.S.

energy and climate policy landscape and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify and inform the firm's perspective on policy opportunities and risks.

Job Responsibilities:


* Conduct research and analysis on emerging energy and sustainability trends and policies.


* Collaborate with internal teams and business units to support sustainability priorities and track engagements with key partners.


* Support the planning and execution of sustainability projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.


* Work across business units to plan and execute high-profile events for internal and external climate and energy leaders.


* Prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, and communications materials to effectively convey team strategy, event plans, policy analysis, and project updates to internal and external audiences.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Policy, Environmental Science, or a related field.


* At least 2 years of experience in finance or federal/state energy policy.


* Strong understanding of energy and sustainability policy issues and trends, including power generation, transportation, infrastructure, and climate change.


* Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.


* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


* Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, including administrative, strategic, research, and partnership-related work.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
