Koch Fertilizer Wever, LLC is looking for a 2026 Summer Project Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team in Wever, Iowa.
The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2026.

What You Will Do
• Dive Into the Details: Learn to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other key technical documents, including piping isometric drawings, area plot plans, specifications, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
• Optimize Processes: Collaborate with teams to develop innovative projects focused on operational needs and process improvements.
• Lead Small-Scale Projects: Take charge of planning, organizing, budgeting, and implementing approved engineering projects that drive real impact.
Manage projects from concept to completion, giving you the opportunity to take ownership and showcase your skills.
• Support for Large-Scale Projects: Assist staff engineers with large projects by contributing to documentation and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in designing and laying out equipment, bringing creative solutions to life while learning from experienced professionals.
• Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with a supportive team of professionals who are invested in helping you succeed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Enrolled in an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, or related field preferred)
• Eligible for full-time employment by graduation date
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
