This position oversees the design and implementation of the fabrication shop's production processes.

The position is responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency and quality of the Welding and Machining production processes to produce a better product, at a lower cost and improve the profitability of the company while maintaining / improving safety.

This is an on-site position located in North Baltimore, OH.

What You'll Do

Primary Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:


* Reviewing production plan & minimizing set up time on next jobs to be processed.


* Analyzing and reporting on production processes, methods, set up times, and cycle times.


* Evaluating quality control processes and making recommendations for improvements.


* Ensuring that the company's manufacturing processes comply with relevant policies/procedures and Customer requirements and regulations.


* Assures activities are completed in a safe manner, consistent with government guidelines, and with a minimum disruption of plant production on schedule and within budget.


* Reviewing and calculating the costs of the different tools and equipment in the production process and predicting the overheads in future production requirements.


* Remain up to date on the most recent developments & advancements in machining processes & technology.


* Assist in defining essential safety protocols & identify, document & report unsafe situations / routines.
