Job Description:

Reporting to the Sr.

Director of HPE's Private Cloud Control Plane, the Engineering Services Sr.

Manager will oversee a multi-faceted team focusing on DevOps, and Release Management.

Supported product lines include HPE's Private Cloud portfolio, inclusive of support for VM Essentials and AI Essentials.

This role will act in a player-coach fashion, with the ideal candidate having experience in leading teams, but also making significant recent technical contributions as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities and Necessary Knowledge



* Guide team of engineers to owning Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines


* Collaborate with non-executive and executive engineering leadership


* Guide and develop team in SecOps Practices and ensure adherence to security best practices.


* Automation of release process with end-user experience in mind.


* Should have experience or familiarity with: OSRB, VTN, Signing, STROSS, SMTA, MSC, SWCAT


* Expertise in Networking , Storage & Infrastructure


* Expertise in Private Cloud and Cloud Computing


* Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience & Education



* 12+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering


* 5+ years of people leadership experience


* Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related field, or Equivalent Work Experience
