Production Assembler

Summary

This position assembles/checks/tests new equipment prior to delivery to the customer.

This is a physical, multi-faceted position that involves basic plumbing and electrical assembly skills.

Continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages is part of the day's work.

A good mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools and basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles is essential.

The Production Associate must have the ability to communicate with staff and management.

Responsibilities


* Assemble systems composed of piping and basic electrical components and wiring to meet design for customer.


* Inspect all goods to specifications when received and prior to shipping to the customer.


* Using supplied tools, perform repair of customer equipment and assembly of new products and systems.


* Help with creating and shipping odd or oversized projects.


* Observe all Company safety guidelines, wear prescribed safety attire, and always work safely.


* Perform all general warehouse tasks and responsibilities, new build activities as needed.55


* Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.


* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Competencies


* Mechanical Aptitude.

Electrical wiring experience a plus.


* Able to work independently.


* Strong Oral and written communication.


* Be on time for the scheduled workday and complete all the work hours required.


* Maintain good working relationships with coworkers.


* Order fulfillment accuracy and attention to detail


* Positive attitude on display at all times.


* Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once.


* Persistent and diligent attention to safety and detail.

Required Education and Experience:


* High school diploma or GED / Experience preferred.
