Microgrid Solution Architect

As a key member of the Microgrid team, you'll report directly to the Microgrid Line of Business and work closely with country operations.

You'll be the go-to expert for designing and delivering EcoStruxure Microgrid solutions across the Pacific region.

You'll design tailored microgrid architectures and present them through engaging demonstrations and detailed technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Country Enablement & Training


* Deliver "train-the-trainer" sessions from the Line of Business.


* Equip tender managers and engineers with the knowledge and tools to succeed.


* Onboard and support new Microgrid EcoXperts.

Solution Architecture & Sales Support


* Collaborate with sales teams, customers, and consultants to recommend optimal microgrid architectures and use cases.


* Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals.


* Leverage standard solutions and assess the need for custom engineering.


* Participate in peer reviews and proposal approvals.

Project Handover & Execution Support


* Lead or support project kick-off meetings.


* Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to execution teams.


* Provide technical guidance throughout the implementation phase.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:


* Passion for energy transition, decarbonisation, and emerging technologies.


* Minimum 3 years' experience in technical pre-sales, tendering, or solution design.


* Strong background in automation platforms (e.g., EPAS, Machine Expert).


* Solid understanding of LV/MV electrical distribution and off-grid systems.


* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


* Fluent in English (spoken and written).


* Team-oriented, results-driven, and resilient under pressure.

Desirable:


* Experience with EcoStruxure Microgrid Operation & Advisor.


* Deep understanding of microgrid use cases and architectures.


* Familiarity with containerised BESS solutions.


* Knowledge of utility markets, tariffs, and incentive schemes.


* Experience with energy modelling (e.g., solar PV, BESS).
