Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Postdoctoral fellow with experience in advanced respiratory in vitro co-culture systems to join our Immunology Discovery team within the Immunology Therapeutic Area to be based in Spring House, PA or San Diego, CA.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and hands-on experience in primary cell cultures and co-culture systems relevant to the pathogenesis of respiratory diseases.

Recent lab-based experience in T2 and non-T2 immune cell analysis, primary lung epithelial/organoid culture, and primary fibroblast culture relevant to asthma and COPD is ideal.

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of scientific curiosity and innovation, who thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:


* Design, perform, and interpret in vitro experiments utilizing primary lung epithelial cells, primary immune cells, and primary lung fibroblasts to support biology and MOA studies.


* Build complex co-culture in vitro systems relevant to asthma and COPD with guidance from experts within immunology discovery.


* Proven capacity to design, execute, and interpret your own experiments is essential.


* Utilize scRNA-Seq and spatial transcriptomics to answer complex disease biology questions.

Familiarity with computational analysis of these datasets preferred.


* Document research in electronic notebooks, manuscripts for external publication, and other formats as required.
