Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Participates in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Involves in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, developing or enhancing software application, working with stakeholders for user acceptance testing, and following enterprise change management process to implement in production.

Understands and customizes vendor delivered reports.

Identifies and troubleshoots application code-related issues.

Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability.

Takes active role in design and code reviews to ensure secure and high-quality solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, Module Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst, Module Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Oracle SQL Performance Tuning; Oracle Human Capital Management cloud; BI Publisher tool with e-text, RTF, and Excel templates; Human Capital Management Extract; OTBI; Human Capital Management Data Loader (HDL); Human Capital Management Workflow notifications and approvals; Alert Composer; Human Capital Management products: Payroll, Time, Absence, Talent Performance, and Talent Acquisition/Recruiting; and Oracle Human Capital Management security.
