Forecast Automation and Engineering - Product Director
Join our team to lead the integration of forecasting models with cutting-edge technology, driving innovation and efficiency.
As the Product Director, with the Forecast Automation and Engineering team, you will leverage your techno-functional expertise to design and implement forecasting models that meet business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
* Analyze and interpret forecasting processes to design optimized solutions.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and model enhancements (e.g., connecting upstream/downstream calculators, streamlining code base) .
* Collaborate with tech teams, functional partners, and internal stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.
* Develop a scorecard of metrics to track success in a multi-dimensional way (e.g., time saved, data pipelines automated, control checks enabled).
* A rticulate a product vision and strategy to guide development efforts.
* Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding models onto cloud-based architecture (e.g., Databricks) .
* Leverage JIRA and JIRA Align to align stories, epics, and initiatives to the product roadmap.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
* Proven experience in product management with a focus on data-driven solutions.
* Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Python coding.
* Experience in developing and executing forecasting models.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to develop comprehensive product roadmaps.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Background in retail banking products.
* Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud solutions.
* Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment.
