Human Resources Manager - Atlanta Airport

Oversees human resources programs in alignment with company policies and objectives.

Collaborates with operations management to support business goals and strategic initiatives.

Provides recommendations and adjustments in response to operational changes, such as airport closures, the launch of new units, or fluctuations in customer volume.

Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the assigned human resources function.

Contributes to the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

Provides guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations and performance management-related issues and recommends appropriate resolutions when the need arises.

Train managers on various HR-related and leadership programs.

Leads and conducts investigations in accordance with company policies, providing recommendations based on findings.

Ensures compliance with organizational policies as well as local, state, and federal employment regulations.

Demonstrates the ability to identify issues, gather and analyze relevant data, and draw sound, evidence-based conclusions.

Provides guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations and performance management-related issues and recommends appropriate resolutions when the need arises.

Train managers on various HR-related and leadership programs.

Manage the employee life cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, drive employee engagement, and positive work environment.

Manages communication strategies to foster positive employee relations and enhance organizational engagement.

Manage the Airport’s badging process, sponsorship designation for vendors and subtenants, committees to drive positive relationships with the airport, and engagement programs.

Ensures compliance with Company policies, federal, state guidelines, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, federal, state, and local regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of the department to establish goals.

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.

Manages and monitors the Workers' Compensation program to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable regulations.

Oversees the distribution and tracking of required communication notices to ensure timely and accurate dissemination.

Performs other duties as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with project planning for the opening of new locations; evaluates needs and makes staffing recommendations.

Manage badge audits, ad hoc reports, staffing reports, turnover reports, and other similar reports monthly or upon request.
