SUMMARY

Supports the facilitation, control, and audit of financial planning, analysis, and accounting reporting.

Serves as a resource to Information Technology (IT) leadership to facilitate financial and management reporting, budgeting, and accounting processes.

Supports the IT area of Subaru of America (SOA).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


* Maintains and coordinates accounting workflows and projects to support evolutions within Information Technology (IT).


* Utilizes data to supply insights to management as applicable


* Leverages Oracle to execute necessary processes, gather and verify data, and perform essential uploads to facilitate the completion of the accounting close process.


* Utilizes IT systems and software tools to enhance the efficiency of data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, including leveraging data analytics platforms to generate meaningful insights into business performance and operational effectiveness.


* Reviews and analyzes all available data to accurately calculate and enter necessary journal entries, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the accounting close process.


* Develops and presents detailed financial and operational reports and forecasts to Finance and IT leadership stakeholders.

Creates and delivers presentations that clearly communicate financial performance and operational efficiency.


* Applies analytical and technical skills to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable business insights.

Utilizes charts, graphs, and other visual aids to enhance the understanding and communication of data findings.


* Maintains responsibility for administration and control of Budgeting Analytics.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
