Job Summary:
As a Loan Service Associate in Wholesale Lending Services, you will support the largest and most sophisticated corporate loan transactions in the market.
You will be the primary loan servicing contact for internal and external clients, providing operational support for syndicated credit structures and bilateral loans.
This role involves direct interaction with borrowers, lenders, and business partners, ensuring efficient loan servicing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide deal origination and execution support to Syndicated deal teams.
• Offer feedback to deal structuring teams on market trends.
• Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements.
• Perform quality control on new deals, restructures, and amendments.
• Initiate loan activity as instructed by clients.
• Calculate and track complex interest and fee accruals.
• Reconcile daily funding and payment activity.
• Initiate and reconcile automated funds movement.
• Monitor and escalate past due principal, interest, and fees.
• Assist in loan operations projects as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Two years of related Client Management/Interaction or Operations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinker with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong organizational skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Experience in Commercial Loan/Lending Operations.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting syndicated credit agreements.
• Loan IQ experience.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Ability to manage and resolve complex problems autonomously.
