based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Sustaining Engineering, Tools, and Test team.

This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of our engineering lab and plays a key part in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our product line.

The engineering technician provides support to the development and sustaining groups with development activities; creates, tests, troubleshoots and manufactures machinery, consumer products, and other equipment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and testing experience.

Duties and Responsibilities


* Assemble, build, and maintain test setups and fixtures for product validation and compliance testing.


* Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified electrical and mechanical components or assemblies for products, such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, servo systems, machine tools, and measuring instruments.


* Execute tests to support product development, regulatory compliance, and sustaining engineering efforts for product improvements.


* Characterize product performance through hands-on testing and data collection.


* Evaluate new components and materials for compatibility with existing systems.


* Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of product issues.


* Collaborate with engineers to implement and validate design improvements and product updates.


* Maintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory.

Ensure calibration and readiness of test instruments.


* Record and analyze test data, and communicate findings to engineering teams.


* Support prototype builds and initial production runs.
