Hardware Test Engineer

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $80,600 - $120,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Hardware Test Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering, Tools, and Test team.

This role is critical in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our hardware products through the development and execution of robust testing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware testing, compliance standards, and cross-functional collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities


* Develop and document test procedures, analyze data, and make recommendations based on findings.


* Develop test processes and standards for new and existing products.


* Collaborate with design and development teams to define test requirements and ensure testability of new designs.


* Characterize the performance of hardware systems and components through structured testing and analysis.


* Coordinate with external test labs and certification bodies for compliance testing (e.g., EMC, safety, environmental).


* Interpret and apply relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, FCC, CE) to ensure product compliance.


* Design and implement automated and manual test setups, including custom test fixtures and instrumentation.


* Analyze test data, identify trends or anomalies, and provide clear, actionable feedback to engineering teams.


* Support production teams by consulting and helping to refine test procedures for manufacturing and quality assurance.


* Help identify test equipment needs.


* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for test failures or field issues.
