Back of House Runner

At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Back of House Runner to join the team our team in Theo Randall’s award-winning Italian Restaurant, with an immediate start!

We are looking for an energetic and organized Back of House Runner.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and the floor team, supporting the delivery of exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:


* Act as a crucial link between the kitchen and front of house, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes to the service team.


* Coordinate and manage multiple menu styles (à la carte, tasting menus, private dining) during service.


* Maintain clear communication with chefs and floor staff to manage flow and ensure guest satisfaction.


* Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness and order in the back of house pass area.


* Support the team during both lunch and dinner services, with primary focus on dinner shifts.


* Adapt quickly to the pace and flow of a high-volume service environment.

Requirements:


* Previous experience as a runner in a high-paced restaurant is highly desirable.


* Strong organizational and communication skills


* Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.


* Flexible availability, especially during evenings and weekends


* A proactive and positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
