Summary of Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Elbit Systems of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer with specialized expertise in GCC High (GCCH) environments and one commercial instance for, collaboration technologies with a focus on Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft Purview, Teams.

This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced M365 and compliance solutions to enhance organizational communication and collaboration while ensuring data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Administration of a small footprint of Azure services along with data archiving architecture.

Responsibilities and Tasks (listed in bullet format) in order of priority to be successful

Architect and Design Solution:


* Translate requirements and convert legacy on-prem Microsoft systems to modern M365 cloud solutions in GCCH


* Lead new designs, implementations, and optimization of M365 collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Purview, in a GCCH environment.


* Data Governance and Compliance:


* Ensure all solutions comply with federal security standards, including FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program), FISMA (Federal Information Security Modernization Act), CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), and DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide).


* Develop and manage data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational policies.


* Implement and maintain security and compliance protocols, including data classification, retention policies, eDiscovery, and data loss prevention (DLP) strategies in MS Purview.


* Guide developers on Power Platform best practices


* Collaboration Enhancements:


* Innovate and implement strategies to improve collaboration through M365 tools while maintaining strict compliance and governance standards.


* Manage migrations to GCCH and oversee upgrades of M365 services, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
