EFP - Pre-expander

JOB SUMMARY

Prepare bead for expanding process.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



* Maintain inventory of raw bead



* Place raw bead in staging area for the day's production



* Stay up to date with documents on Pre-expansion production board



* Set up program in expander computer for each bead change



* Routinely check pre-expander to verify proper cycling



* Perform density checks



* Clean expander



* Maintain 5S activities



* Perform other duties assigned



* Report to Production Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



* 18+ years of age



* Fork lift certified



* Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



* 40+ hours a week



* Standing for long periods of time



* Walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and crouching



* Lifting, carrying, pushing , and pulling (2 5 lb max)

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS



* Safety glasses



* Hearing protection available



* Steel toe shoes (Static dissipating rated)
