This role offers the opportunity to support our serology business, which plays a critical role in detecting antibodies and antigens to aid in diagnosing infections, ensuring blood safety, and monitoring immune responses.
The Opportunity:
Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers.
As a Field Engineering Specialist you will:
* showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines.
* offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
* provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair of Roche products.
* serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
* diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
* document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
This is a field-based role - the territory is greater Minnesota and surrounding areas.
Travel expectation: up to 70%
Who You Are:
* High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience
* 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking OR a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking
* Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy
