Expert -Digital Procurement

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and manage strategic initiatives within the Procurement domain, covering both Direct and Indirect Procurement processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement operations, a solid grasp of the technical stack supporting procurement systems, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs that align with business goals.

Experience in leveraging AI and automation technologies to optimize procurement processes is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end program management for procurement-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

• Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions.

• Drive the implementation and integration of procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).

• Analyze and optimize procurement processes for both direct (raw materials, components) and indirect (services, office supplies) categories.

• Manage cross-functional project teams, vendors, and third-party consultants.

• Monitor program performance, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on program status, risks, and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
AI & Technology-Driven Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML technologies to enhance procurement efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.

• Lead initiatives involving:

• - AI-powered spend analytics and demand forecasting.

• - Predictive supplier risk management using machine learning models.

• - Automated contract analysis using NLP and AI-based tools.

• - Chatbots and virtual assistants for procurement support and supplier queries.

• - Intelligent workflow automation for purchase requisitions, approvals, and invoice processing.

• Collaborate with data science and IT teams to design, test, and deploy AI-driven procurement solutions.

• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled procurement platforms and tools.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in AI, procurement tech, and supply chain innovation.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with digital procurement transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for procurement reporting.

• Experience with AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI).

• Understanding of data governance, model training, and ethical AI practices in procurement.
