Responsibilities


* Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.


* Collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.


* Ensure all food preparation and cooking practices adhere to safety and hygiene standards.


* Monitor food supplies and inventory, ordering ingredients as needed to maintain stock.


* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.


* Provide support during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of meals to patients.

Requirements



* Proven experience as a cook in a kitchen setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices and regulations.


* Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines with attention to detail.


* Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with healthcare staff.


* Ability to adapt meal offerings based on various dietary needs and restrictions.


* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
