Business Finance Junior Analyst

Overall Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this process is to ensure an efficient financial close cycle through pre-close, month-end, and post-close activities.

This includes preparing and executing all expense and project expenses, conducting month-end balance assessments, and performing variance analyses at Levels 1 and 2 while accounting for headcount changes.

The financial reporting phase will involve preparing sub-team templates with detailed analyses and holding collaborative meetings with N+1 (Managers and Directors) to ensure alignment and transparency.

* Coupa and OPA monitoring including issue resolution


* Topline/Commercial related tasks

* Topline/Commercial related Tasks

Post Close Activities


* Variance Analysis Level 1 and 2


* Inclusion of Headcount no.

(HC in and out)


* Topline/Commercial related tasks

Financial Reporting


* Sub-Team Template Preparation with Level 1 and 2 Analysis


* Perform topline/Commercial related tasks


* Meeting with N+1 (Managers, Directors)

Other Responsibilities


* Collaborate and build relationships with Corporate, Ops, Digital Innovation Technology and other departments.


* Active participation in the transformation initiatives of the center and global


* Attend financial/cadence calls


* Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your Team Lead/ Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Key Success Factors


* Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.


* At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience, willing to learn and be trained.


* Exposure to a Shared Services or multinational environment is an advantage.


* Advanced knowledge and experience in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.


* Advanced experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) is required.


* Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.


* Strong analytical and research capabilities, with problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge conventional thinking.


* Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, leading to informed recommendations.


* Continuous improvement mindset, focused on increasing task efficiency and effectiveness with each product or service iteration.
