The Opportunity

Our Gepps Cross Manufacturing Plant are currently seeking an experienced Downstream Planner - Master Production Scheduler to be based in Adelaide, South Australia.Utilizing your proven experience, you will play a key role as you enjoy a new career challenge within a growing section of Schneider.

Key Responsibilities



* Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of both raw materials and finished goods, aiming to minimize stock outs and overstocking.


* Participating in the S&OP process to align production plans with sales forecasts and overall business objectives.


* Develop and maintain production schedules considering machine capacity and resource availability.


* Analyze and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.


* Forecast demand and align production plans accordingly.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and logistics.


* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.


* Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage and optimize production planning processes.


* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management: A solid understanding of the overall production process is important.

About You



* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or supply chain.


* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.


* Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.


* Advanced/Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.


* Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
