Inside Sales Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:

Inside Sales Customer Service Representative is responsible for a portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls and provide an optimum experience.

Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets.

Additionally, he/she engages with our customers in a sales activity-driven role including resolving complex or unusual requests and problems.

At times, outside sales activities will be required including participating in sales efforts as part of a larger team.

Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

Location: This position is on-site at our Statesville, NC facility.

Schedule: This position is Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

In some instances, this position requires some overtime hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Take and process customers' orders and quotations


* Answer and return phone calls with clients


* Ensure customer satisfaction and an enjoyable experience


* Prepare customers' correspondences and communicate via email daily.

Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.


* Keep customers updated regarding order status in a timely manner


* Resolves minor customer complaints


* Provide updates on customer orders


* Assists clients in their choice of product/service after you are trained and have familiarity with company products


* Provide entry-level trouble shooting


* Provide necessary information about products and service


* Build and maintain good relationship with customers


* Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support company objectives

Education and/or Experience:

Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's Degree or higher education a plus.

Experience: 1 years of customer service experience.

Experience with knowledge in the construction or roofing field is a plus.

Organizational Competencies: Excellent communication skills, proficient problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, ability to promote teamwork among peers is a must.

Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as excel and word.

Experience with CRM software.

Physical Requirements:Sit or stand for long periods of time.
