What will your job look like?

The Parts Clerk is responsible for inventory control, purchasing parts, executing shop administrative tasks such as filing, generating reports, asset works data entry, organizing day-to-day functions and other duties as they apply.

The Parts Clerk will be able to perform duties in a timely manner and advise higher level manager of any potential issues that could affect the overall accountability of the fleet.

What you’ll do:


* Manage all the parts purchasing including shipping, receiving, and stocking


* Handle warranty part ordering/returns


* Assist with processing purchase orders (PO’s) and invoices and coordinate with the corporate accounting department on daily information requests


* Complete data entry into asset works/maintenance software programs and Workday


* Will identify any discrepancies in master log to ensure corrections are made in a timely manner and any


* Variances are defined and explained


* Assist in implementation and training for maintenance policies and procedures


* Perform additional duties as assigned or required

 

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:


* High school diploma or G.E.D.

equivalent


* Must be 25 years of age or older


* Valid Arizona Driver's license


* Minimum of 5 years driving history


* No pending charges


* No convicted felony charges in past 7 years


* No DUI/DWI in past 5 years


* Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation


* Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening


* Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation


* Valid Authorization to work in the United States

 

Skills:



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Good organizational skills with attention to timeliness and details


* Proficient in computer skills to ensure parts are ordered correctly


* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures


* Willing to adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations


* Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality


* Knowledge of basic safety and training procedures


* Ability to work flexible hours as required


* Regular attendance is required
