Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine aims to deliver innovative and effective treatments across four therapeutic areas of high unmet medical need.

At the Johnson & Johnson Research Center in Toledo, our chemistry group focuses on the design, synthesis, and optimization of groundbreaking small molecule therapeutics.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates with the following qualifications:

 


* A Master’s degree in synthetic, organic, or medicinal chemistry


* Practical experience in organic chemistry and relevant analytical techniques


* A highly motivated and engaged team player with a passion for hands-on science and a commitment to continuous learning


* Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in English

THE PROJECT:

 


* Three chemistry positions available within the Medchem, Parallel Medicinal Chemistry (PMC), and Chemical Technology (CT) groups.


* Team members will contribute to significant drug discovery projects utilizing cutting-edge technology in synthetic chemistry.


* An exciting position in an international and dynamic environment offering numerous learning opportunities in synthetic, organic, and medicinal chemistry.


* Opportunities to develop presentation skills by explaining personal contributions to project progress.

We offer:



* One year internship


* 35 hours per week
