Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Graduate to join our Human Resources team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions and contribute to initiatives that shape our workplace culture and employee experience.
In this role, you will be:
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and exiting employees.
* Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality through the ticketing system.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of HR reports and analytics and support with legislative reporting i.e.
Employment Equity, BBBEE, Top Employer, etc.
* Coordinate and support employee training and development programs for SSA Commercial and Functions teams.
* Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Support employee engagement initiatives such as wellness programs, surveys, and team-building events.
* Assist in performance management processes.
* Help manage internal communications related to HR updates, events, and policy changes.
* Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and support related reporting and awareness campaigns.
* Provide administrative support for disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Stay up to date with HR trends, labor legislation, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following requirements:
* Education: Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling data and documentation.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
