Sporting Event Crew Member (Part-Time)

The Event Staff, On-Call is responsible for making the game or event experience optimal for the student-athletes, families and guest.   

Position Responsibilities 


* Assist in various guest service and operational areas related to events and game-day-operations for IMG Academy 


* Directly interact professionally with teams, coaches, families, guests, officials, and players during event/games  


* Participate in all set up and breakdown activities for games/events 


* Roles vary but could include:\Stadium Operations:  Cleaning Crew, Game Day Give-A-Ways, Ticket Taker, Media Runner, Program Sales, Set up Crew, Photographer


* Game Day Operations:  Official Stat Keeper, Home Team Liaison, Video Assistant, Officials and visiting team liaison


* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes


* Other duties as assigned  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   


* Must be 18 years of age or older 


* High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience 


* Excellent guest service skills 


* Positive attitude


* Professional demeanor 


* Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities 


* Punctual and reliable 


* MS Office experience 

 

Preferred Skills 


* Experience or interest in working in events, facilities or sport management 


* Bilingual  

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment 


* Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of50lbs.  


* Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.


* Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.


* Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
