This is a grant-funded, hybrid, full time, benefited position.
The Perinatal Community Health Worker position is grant funded and renewed annually based on performance and funding availability.
Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
The salary for this position is $19.25 per hour.
Must be a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana to qualify for this position.
If hired for this position, applicant will be required to provide proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to the start date; or have a valid religious or medical reason qualifying the applicant for an exemption (that may or may not require accommodation).
The applicant will need to have the qualifying exemption.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Community Outreach
• Build trusted relationships with community members and enroll pregnant and postpartum individuals into SHERO NOLA.
• Represent SHERO NOLA at community events, clinics, and partner sites.
