RN NOC Shift Supervisor Full-Time

Job Title: RN NOC Shift Supervisor
Location: Visalia Post Acute - Visalia, CA
Shift: NOC (Overnight)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $45/hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN NOC Shift Supervisor to support our overnight clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:


* Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding care plans, therapies, and treatment protocols


* Participate in daily stand-up meetings to support interdisciplinary communication


* Answer resident and family questions, offering reassurance and clear information


* Monitor resident status and respond to changing clinical needs


* Prioritize daily tasks based on assessments of new, current, and discharging residents


* Complete accurate and timely documentation and charting


* Perform utilization review to ensure effective, timely, and cost-efficient care


* Coordinate admissions, discharges, and referrals with internal and external providers


* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, care providers, and family members


* Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other payer requirements

Qualifications:


* Current, valid California RN license preferred; LVN/LPN license acceptable


* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Social Work preferred


* Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility


* Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medicaid benefits


* Strong time management, critical thinking, and communication skills


* Familiarity with electronic medical records (PCC knowledge preferred)


* Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) a plus

Physical & Work Requirements:


* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling


* Frequent walking, standing, and interaction with residents and staff


* Moderate noise level in a clinical care setting


* Must be able to maintain focus and flexibility in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
