This role will direct the development of end-to-end leadership in an important, rapidly growing spend portfolio in the Drug Delivery Systems space for JNJ Innovative Medicine.

This includes strategy development, key relationships within the business and managing key supplier relationships.

This role covers the E2E scope (including development, through commercial to base business management) of the rapidly growing Drug Delivery Systems space and requires the seniority of a PG31 Sub-Category Leader with strong procurement and business acumen to lead this space in a compelling manner.

Key responsibilities:


* Develop and execute E2E DDS Procurement strategies that are aligned with the business/sector needs including sourcing strategy, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets (Cost drivers, risk analysis, mitigation, analytics, applicability / of category value creation).


* Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations.

Relationships are with senior executives at the supplier end


* Manages relationship with key internal senior stakeholders, both in SC and R&D
