Join us at this exciting time of operational growth and change as Maintenance Manager for Gas and Electrical compliance for the North-West.  You'll lead and schedule our programmes of work, managing our inhouse teams as well as contractors to deliver high quality and compliant homes for our customers, delivering on our customer promise.  If you’re an expert in gas and electrical compliance and looking for a fantastic new role with a great employer, this is the perfect role for you.

Key priorities as Maintenance Manager – Gas and Electrical Compliance


* Developing and leading our Gas and Electrical teams to deliver right first-time, high-quality servicing, repairs and installations on our properties (responsive and voids).


* Managing teams, subcontractor and supplier performance, delivering against legislative requirements, KPI’s and ensuring commercially driven and compliant services. 


* As responsible person, ensuring duty holders fulfil their duties with Gas Safe and Electrical registrations and legislation.   


* Providing accurate forecasting and budgetary control to ensure your team are working commercially and have a genuine understanding of how they provide cost effective and value for money services.


* Data management, reporting and using your creative spark (alongside your team) to drive service innovation and continuous improvement.

You have


* Extensive experience in both gas and electrical compliance, working within a housing and maintenance environment.


* Experience of keeping programmes of work on track, to time and budget through brilliant collaboration and communication.

You can confidently interpret and challenge contracts, use data and insights to identify trends and drive performance.


* Extensive operational experience in managing internal teams and subcontractors. 


* A relevant qualification in an electrical or gas discipline, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of gas and electrical safety and compliance works.  You’ll also have a relevant Health and Safety qualification with experience in managing the Health and Safety of direct teams and sub-contractors, including CDM regulations and all compliance regulations related to gas and electrical activities.


* You’ll have a track record of successfully maintaining budgets, analysing trends, providing value for money and displaying commercial acumen.
