RN Apprenticeship Program Clinical Instructor (RN Required)
Work Schedule :
100% FTE, on-site clinicals will be 8 or 12 hours with students, primarily day/evening shifts, primarily weekdays.
No holidays.
Clinicals are held within the greater Madison community; travel will be required to these locations.
Supplemental learning activities and open skills labs are held at 610 Whitney Way, hours may vary.
Pay :
* Additional components of compensation may include:
* Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening and $5/hour night as applicable for hours worked
* Weekend Differential: $4.25/hour as applicable for hours worked
* Overtime

We are seeking a RN Apprenticeship Program Clinical Instructor to:
* Provide instruction to ADN students in the Nursing Apprenticeship program at UW Health primarily through on-site clinical instruction.
Supplemental learning activities and open skills labs are utilized to reinforce content within the program.
* Perform student evaluation and use continuous quality improvement techniques to determine the effectiveness of instruction and student achievement.
* Identify students needing assistance.
Refer and aid as needed.
* Attend and participate in program meetings and organization meetings as needed.
* Preferred candidates will have experience as an instructor in an ADN program.

Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Required
* Doctorate Degree in Nursing (DNP) Preferred
Work Experience
* 2 years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse, including some instructional experience in the classroom or clinical setting Required
* 1 year of long-term care, Rehab or LPN experience Preferred
* 2 years of inpatient nursing assistant experience and three (3) years of inpatient RN experience Preferred
* Skills teaching or didactic teaching experience Preferred
