What you will do

The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to support our business needs.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into visualizations to derive actionable business insights.

You will also optimize data models and queries for performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI solutions including Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards to showcase KPIs and trends that support data driven business decision-making

• Collaborate with the Business Analyst and key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into the design of effective visualizations

• Optimize data models and queries for performance, efficiency and scalability

• Create complex calculations and measures using DAX, SQL

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing reports and dashboards

• Provide training and support to end users as needed

• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data visualization and business intelligence

• Support the BA in the creation and maintenance of documentation for BI solutions and processes

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions

• Ensure all end users are appropriately trained in the use of the systems supported

• Resolve end user complaints and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

• Monitor and diagnose technical issues with production applications

• Accountable for key metrics such as NPS, business impact, backlog health and optimizing the speed to release process
