Job Description:

Ideal for Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar engineering backgrounds with hands-on experience in electronic components, assembly and testing.

Senior Product engineer within the Supply chain/operations group working on Hybrid Cloud products delivering new product introductions to our manufacturing operations, drive Early Engineering Engagement to influence product design, NPI implementation and released product support.

Assists in architecture development and assessment.

Contributions impact technical components of Hybrid Cloud products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.

Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.

May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:


* Strong leader who can coordinate and direct SC engineering deliverables.


* Ensure all needed supply chain procedures, methods, bill of materials and tests are in place to deliver new Hybrid Clouds Products and solutions


* Working with the program and manufacturing teams, ensure new Hybrid products are defined, setup and validated during the NPI process


* Triage and drive root cause/corrective action of issues during a NPI program or during released product support


* Establish program quality goals, track product quality during NPI and post CTR, drive needed quality improvement actions


* During post release phase, track key data/metrics and resolve issues impacting orders and product performance


* Working closely with R&D partners to drive design for manufacturability and test based on feedback from prior generation products and supply chain partners


* Actively work with R&D partner groups on architectural improvements that will improve supply chains ability to deliver new Hybrid Cloud products
