Market Teller I

This Position Reports To: Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager

 

 

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities


* Greet customers and assist in conversations about banking products to recommend banking products/services


* Maintain and balance within established standards


* May work at multiple branches based on market needs


* Contribute to overall branch results, including customer experience


* Comply with bank policies, procedures and banking regulations


* Process transactions up to designated limits using sound judgment


* Demonstrate understanding and comply with established security procedures


* Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment


* Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch


* Participate in available training opportunities, including completion of ABA Teller Certification


* Participate in referral program


* Other duties as needed or assigned

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:


* High school graduate or active student


* Two years work experience with the public preferred


* Basic math aptitude and proficiency


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Knowledge of accounting principles helpful


* Proficiency with basic technology


* Professional image


* Basic sales experience


* Awareness of general banking services


* Active in social and/or extracurricular activities preferred
