Caregiver - PRN

* Answer call lights promptly.


* Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout your shift.


* Assist all residents in the activities of daily living according to their care plan (including but not limited to showering, dressing, toileting, etc.).


* Accurately measure, record and report vital signs of residents.


* Transport residents to and from meals and activities.


* Assist with delivering meals to resident rooms as necessary.


* Make beds as needed.


* Deliver and put away laundry as needed.


* Maintain confidentiality for all residents according to HIPPA Laws.


* Create Progress notes regarding behavior, concerns, etc.


* Follow up on and chart on all SPAs and behavior plans.


* Report complaints or grievances made by residents to the Director of Nursing.


* Participate and cooperate with any facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing Services.


* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

18 years or older

Recommended

CPR/First aid Certificate

Food Handler's Certificate

Reliable transportation

Ability to lift 25 or more pounds

Basic computer skills

Basic knowledge of PCC

Good communication skills
